Ben-Amun was founded in 1980 in New York City by Egyptian-born designer Isaac Manevitz, named after the ancient Egyptian king and god Ben and Amun. The brand became known for its handcrafted, couture-quality costume jewelry, often featured in Vogue and on runways for designers like Oscar de la Renta and Carolina Herrera. Today, it remains one of the few houses still designing and producing in New York. These Ben-Amun gold crest earrings are from the 1980s to 1990s.
