Murano glassmaking dates back centuries, but the Tutti Frutti style gained popularity in the 1950s when Murano glass artisans began combining vibrant millefiori canes, aventurine sparkles, and colorful inclusions to create whimsical, playful patterns. The term Tutti Fruitti (meaning “all fruits” in Italian) nods to its colorful, mixed-patterned appearance. What makes this style special is the technical skill required, every piece is mouth-blown, shaped, and layered, ensuring no two are exactly alike.
