Inventor George Schuler patented the closure mechanism for these elegant swirl design earrings on July 15th, 1947, underscoring their exceptional comfort and craftsmanship. These earrings garnered acclaim for their distinctive closure system, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit. Remarkably, George Schuler collaborated with renowned jewelry houses like Cartier and Tiffany, as well as the prestigious retailer Neiman Marcus, crafting earrings of the same style for these esteemed brands. These 14K gold earrings likely date from the 1940s to 1950s, predating the patent, and weigh approximately 8.53 grams.
