Pink Aurora Beaded Necklace

Lucite was a popular material used for fashion jewelry during the 1940s and 1950s as it was light weight and fairly easy to produce. Originally the material was developed to be used for military purposes in the manufacturing of aircrafts, windshields and other machinery. This pink lucite necklace is from the 1960s.
