Schlevogt Bohemia Malachite Glass Vase

Malachite glass was invented to mimic the stone it is named after and is crafted so that you can easily identify its marble-like composition. During the early 1900s the Schlevogt family founded their glass company in Bohemia originally creating beads and tableware. It was during the 1930s that the family introduced ornamental objects while attending various trade fairs; marketing their new line to the public. This Curt Schlevogt malachite glass vase is from the 1930s.
