Kenneth Jay Lane, a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design in 1954, relocated to New York to work for Vogue. In the late 1950s, he began working with Dior, alongside the iconic Roger Vivier, who ignited his passion for rhinestones and dazzling designs. In 1963, Lane launched his own line of costume jewelry and went on to earn the title of "the undisputed King of Costume Jewelry." These specific Kenneth Jay Lane earrings are from the 1990s.
