In the early 1920s, following the discovery of King Tutankhamen's tomb, the decade witnessed a captivating blend of art deco and Egyptian-inspired aesthetics. During this period, Tiffany & Co. introduced their vibrant scarab charms made of favrile glass. Louis Comfort Tiffany invented Favrile glass in 1894, known for its remarkable uniqueness attributed to its rich, vivid coloring and iridescent hues. This scarab ring consists of a 1920s Tiffany & Co. favrile glass scarab and a 14K gold setting, added later in the 1960s by a well-known actress of that era. The ring weighs approximately 6.44 grams.
